Left behind after the Vietnam War, Sang is one of many children born to American soldiers and Vietnamese women. Marked by stigma and absence, he grows up yearning for the father he never knew. Decades later, he discovers his father is alive but dying in the U.S. Determined to meet him, Sang leaves his family in Vietnam to seek connection.
